Install new lamp by reversing procedure described in step 2 above.Re-install the quartz sleeve – replace “O” ring if it appears damaged.Clean the quartz sleeve with a vinegar solution or a readily available scale removal product (Limeaway, CLR etc).CAUTION: The quartz sleeve is fragile and is easily chipped or broken – use care when removing or installing. Remove the quarts sleeve by loosening the gland nut and carefully extracting it from the unit.Carefully slide the UV lamp out of the quartz sleeve and discard according to local regulations.CAUTION: Lamp base can be very hot – be careful not to drop lamp into quartz sleeve as it easily breaks. While holding the lamp base firmly, remove the lamp power connector. Carefully extract the lamp connector from the sleeve gland nut assembly to expose just the top of the lamp.Turn off all water supplies to the unit and unplug the system from the electrical outlet.NOTE: Do not touch the lamp or the quarts sleeve with your fingers. If you need to reset the lamp change timer prior to the full one year time period expiring due to premature lamp failure, there are special instructions included with all replacement lamps describing the necessary procedure. It is not possible to reset the lamp change timer unless the timer is in the grace period or lamp change alarm mode. The UV power source will emit a solid three-second beep indicating that the reset was successful. The lamp change reminder timer is reset by disconnecting the UV power source from the AC supply, wait for fifteen seconds and reconnect to the AC supply while depressing the timer button. NOTE: The UV lamp is not shut down in this alarm mode and the solenoid valve drive is not disabled. On the 29th day, the UV power source will indicate a lamp change alarm by illuminating the red timer LED continuously and sound the buzzer. Under no circumstances, this grace period does not exceed 28 days. The buzzer reset can be pushed up to 4 times during this 28 day period. Pushing the timer button during this grace period will silence the buzzer for seven days, but the LED will continue to flash. The flashing LED indicates that the timer function is in the 28-day grace period. At the end of the one-year period, the lamp change timer will flash and the buzzer will sound. There is no sign of corrosion on the contacts of damage to the circuit board. The annual lamp change timer will run for approximately one full year.

How to operate your EcoWater Systems Water Conditioner/Refiner SERIES 3700 & 3702 HydroLink ®& HydroLink Plus ® Conditioners (ECR) Refiners (ERR) Chloramine & Chlorine Conditioner (ERRC)Ù EcoWater Systems LLC P.O. The clock maintains time and all of the settings. Systems tested and certified by the Water Quality Association against CSA B483.1. The processor and display seem to function properly. The micro switch was replaced about a year ago when the old one went bad. Is there any way to test the operation of this sensor? The sensor is connected directly to the processor and the micro switch. The sensor will only fit in one position. This looks like a thin circuit board with a drip of solder on the end. As far as I know the small turbine in the raw water inlet pipe spins and a sensor picks up the rotation of the turbine to calculate the volume of water that passes through the system and based on the grain per gallon of hardness settings in the small processor, it tells the motor when to initiate a regeneration. After I manually regenerate, the problem goes away for a week or so. I also start to notice a slight iron stain around the sink drains. I know when it is time to regenerate when very quickly we start noticing an iron odor/taste and the water starts to get hard. For about the last two months, I have had to manually set my system to regenerate.
